Hosting Fellowship
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
We are very grateful for the opportunity to gather in fellowship, and warmly welcome anyone
who might be visiting and worshipping with us following Divine Liturgy on Sundays.
Our church family is growing! Thanks be to God! We routinely have 120 people to feed on
Sundays. We strongly encourage you to partner up with others to share the cooking and
cleaning responsibilities. Once you’re ready, sign up to host fellowship by clicking on the link
below.
If you are hosting coffee hour in memory of a beloved departed one and would like to have a
Memorial/Trisagion Service, please make sure to contact Shanyn Bateh in the office to confirm
the date.
QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR SIGNUP? Please contact Nicole Tsiouvaras. 303-489-4491
Here is some information to help you prepare:
FELLOWSHIP HOUR HOST RESPONSIBILITIES
PROVIDING FOOD:
ï‚· Plan on approximately 120 people.
ï‚· Food can be as simple or as elaborate as you wish. Just having a little
something to share is wonderful.
ï‚· You may arrive as early as 8:30 to start setting up
ï‚· You do not need to make coffee. Coffee is provided and prepared.
ï‚· Paper goods and utensils are available
ï‚· Please make a plate for the priest and a plate for each of the acolytes serving that
day. Cover them and set aside on the east counter.
CLEAN-UP:
ï‚· Cleaning the kitchen is the responsibility of the fellowship hosts. Other people often jump in
to help, but please know you must leave the dishes washed, trash taken out, and
dishwasher started. Specific clean up tasks are posted on top of the microwave.
ï‚· Once you are finished cleaning up, you do not need to wait for everyone else to leave. A
member of the parish council will make sure the building is locked.
ï‚· Please take or distribute any leftover food including condiments.
ï‚· Contact Shanyn Bateh in the office if any items are broken and/or in need of replacement.
Thank you for helping us keep our Parish the warm and welcoming place it has always
been!
